Pastoral Advisory Board

PrayerNet is in the process of revising the Pastoral Advisory Board to more accurately reflect current involvement with the ministry.

Ministry Accountability

PrayerNet is an associated ministry of the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace. As Director of PrayerNet, Bowie serves with other ministry leaders as an Associate Director on the Board of the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace.

PrayerNet and its director, Bowie Curry, are relationally accountable to an interdenominational advisory board of local pastors who gather on a weekly basis to pray for the Greater Fredericksburg community. A number of these Pastors have been praying together for almost 30 years and all have a deep kingdom heart for the community.

In addition, Bowie is actively involved in his local church, Grace Church of Fredericksburg where he teaches a regular LifeNet class on Sunday mornings. He is personally submitted and accountable to Grace’s Eldership and committed to supporting the ongoing vision of that assembly.

Financial Accountability

PrayerNet is funded by the offerings of individuals and churches of the Fredericksburg Area. All donated funds are used for the various expenses of PrayerNet and the support of Bowie Curry, its full-time founder and director.

Funding is currently being administrated by the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace.

under the auspices of the Josiah Project, a incorporated non-profit organization.

All donations are tax deductible when checks are made out to “FPF”. If the offering is to be designated to PrayerNet, please put “PrayerNet” (not my name) in the memo line.

All donations totaling $250.00 or more per year receive a written acknowledgement and a yearly statement from the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace.
