The Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace and Mission Base is an association of local and translocal Christian ministries drawn together in covenant relationship under a set of shared core values. Each ministry associated with the Prayer Furnace has embraced the conviction that all true Kingdom ministry is birthed and sustained out of a fasted lifestyle of prayer and intimacy with Christ. This conviction finds expression in a “sacred trust” to devote at least twelve hours per week in the prayer room in personal devotions and corporate intercession. The goal of the Prayer Furnace is to establish 24/7 worship and intercession. Presently the Prayer Furnace prayer room is open 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday at the Fredericksburg Bible Institute.

Vision: The Glory of Christ and the Blessing of the nations.
Mission: To call Christians from all nations to unite in repentance and prayer,
and to collaborate as God’s instruments for the blessing and healing of
all the nations.
Purpose: The primary purpose we gather is to witness the Glory of Christ and the Blessing of the nations. To seek God and exalt His Son for one reason only, because He is Worthy of all our praise.
The day is approaching when everything will be subject to His Glory.
We are motivated by Who He is, and not by what we may get from our coming together.

Mission: The National Day of Prayer Task Force's mission is to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, mobilizing the Christian community to intercede for America and its leadership in the seven centers of power: Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family.
* Foster unity within the Christian Church
* Protect America's Constitutional Freedoms to gather, worship, pray and
speak freely.
* Publicize and preserve America's Christian heritage
* Encourage and emphasize prayer, regardless of current issues and
positions
