There is arising in the earth what can arguably be described as the most extraordinary prayer movement in human history. What we are experiencing in Fredericksburg with the emergence of the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace and Mission base of which PrayerNet is a component, is just a tiny portion of a massive, irresistible tsunami of day and night intercession that is encircling the planet. This is a sovereign work of the Eternal Spirit that was birthed and continues to be sustained by fervent prayer and fasting. Consider the following:

Korean Pastor Paul Yonghi Cho took seriously the Biblical admonition that God desired that “His house be a house of Prayer for all nations”. His church now numbers almost 800,000 members most of whom rise daily at 5:00 AM for two hours of prayer before work.

The 10-40 Window -noted by Luis Bush at the 1989 Lausanne II Conference in Manila.  He identified a Gospel resistant region between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude extending from Africa to Indonesia. 90% of the unreached people groups lived within this “window”. Fervent, strategic intercession, Prayer Journeys, and numerous other prayer initiatives focused on this area.

In September of 2000, Mike Bickle,a praying pastor form Kansas City, launched day and night intercession and worship that has continued non-stop for almost 9 years.

The Global Day of Prayer - on Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2009 it is estimated that almost 250 million Christians representing every nation and every time zone,  gathered for the largest prayer meeting in history to pray for a Greater Pentecost. many of these had been praying and fasting for 10 days prior.

We invite you to join with as we take our place among the multitude of tribes, tongues and nations to usher in the coming of the Lord!

To Him be the Glory!
